Who knew that you could make a chocolate hazelnut sauce? I wish that I had thought of this a lifetime ago..
I have eaten nutella spread on literally everything..but now I have another option or maybe I should say options. Because we are talking milkshakes, hot chocolate, dip for cake or brownies, sundaes…umm yum! I’m sure that list could go on and on, if you care to get creative:)
A valentines day recipe idea that is easy peasy!
I have been obsessed with making ganache and getting it just right for different recipes. Which can be a leetle tricky depending on what you are trying to do with it. So, one day when it was way too liquid I just said “to heck with it” and threw in a little nutella spread:) The rest is history as they say..
Ingredients
- 1 oz . semi-sweet chocolate , finely chopped
- 1/2 cup hazelnut spread (I used nutella)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Chop chocolate a pour into a medium size bowl.
- Pour cream into a small saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Mix the cream and chocolate, and whisk until smooth.
- Add the hazelnut spread and salt, continue whisking until silky smooth.
- Serve warm.
- Cool completely and store in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
