Who loves lemonade?? I do 😍
I made this very berry lemonade to celebrate Memorial Day next week! The berry flavors shine through but, there is also no doubt that it is lemonade-just what I was going for! Frozen mixed berries that were thawed and then blended with a little water and then poured through a strainer to get most of the seeds and pulp out are the star of this lemonade. I started to use a berry syrup which is also good but, the blended berries actually provided lots more flavor and the drink came together much faster. And that color is 💥💥
Happy Tuesday!
Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen berries I used blueberry, blackberry, raspberry blend
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 8-10 cups water
- 7 lemons, juiced
Instructions
- Allow berries to thaw. Blend with 1/2 cup of water and pour through strainer to remove seeds and pulp. There may be a few seeds but the majority will remain in the strainer.
- Pour berry juice in a large pitcher or container and add remaining ingredients. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Store covered in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Notes
***Adjust sugar and water amount as needed. If using a different blend of berries or more or less juice the sugar and water will need to be adjusted to taste!!
